Gualeguaychu Carnival 2010




The Gualeguaychu Carnival is the most important carnival in Argentina. It begins the first´s days of January and finishes the last days of February, every weekend the streets of the City Corsodrome fills
with bright colours, the joy of people, rhythms that make the body vibrate and the carnival parades that give a great show to the people present in the corsodrome.

There are five traditional parades from Gualeguaychú: Mary Mary, O'Bahía, Kamarr, Papelitos and Ara Yevi, but three are competing in each unearthing of King Momo, Saturday to Saturday between January and February, as thousands of expectant eyes which seeking to break with the everyday in search of freedom and fun. The champion will have the privilege of a comeback the following year to defend against the other two groups place and deserved recognition.
More than one night ... more than an event than a festival ... ... more than a rite ... An indescribable experience that can only be understand by anyone who has experienced the Carnival of the Country.

The Carnival is a great show to see and to have a nice weekend in the city of Gualeguaychu, a city that is located in the Entre Rios province, at a distance of 233km from Buenos Aires.
