San Rafael is the second largest city in Mendoza, is located in the vicinity of the rivers "Atuel" and "Diamante". In San Rafael were established the Swiss, Italian and French colonies. It has a huge commercial and industrial movement. In the city you can visit the "Hipolito Irigoyen" Park, where splendid vegetation, an amphitheater and the sports field of the city are found. One of the places to see is the "Mariano Moreno" park, which is located on the "Diamante" island, which has a picturesque artificial lake and a cave, where also lies the municipal Museum of Natural Sciences. 37 km from the city placed us in the Atuel Canyon and in the place called Valle Grande. A place where we can enjoy beautiful lakes, and wonderful views of the mountains.
